Yes it is a vegetable but we eat as a fruit. Tart and tangy, requires a sweetener such as organic raw sugar, maple or coconut sugar (all available here).
Lightly poached with some aromats such as cinnamon or star anise and something to sweeten, it's lovely with some yoghurt or cream, or add to your bowl of hot porridge.
Add to pies or tarts, make a relish or jam, even kimchi!
