Radicchio is a member of the chicory family, a group of cabbage-like, leafy vegetables that are hearty, healthy, tasty and known for their spicy bitterness. This compound known as glucosinolates are known to support gut health & digestion, essential for our wellbeing. 

Uses: salad, roasting, grilling, risotto or pasta. 

A leafy, gorgeous plant originated in northern Italy in the early 16th century and has been an important element of Italian cuisine ever since (hence its nickname Italian Chicory).
